Frequently asked questions

Do you work on commission or take a percentage of the award?

No. In line with the Grant Professionals Association Code of Ethics, we never charge a percentage of grant awards. Our fees are fixed and agreed upfront, so you know your investment before we begin.

Why do federal proposals cost more than foundation proposals?

Federal and state applications are longer and more technical. They require detailed budgets, compliance documentation, evaluation plans, and close alignment with scoring rubrics. Foundation proposals are typically shorter, so they take less time to complete.

How does the E.P.I.C. Assessment work?

We evaluate your organization's Expertise, Programming, Innovative Strategy, and Capacity. The assessment reveals where your organization is now and what it should focus on, from what to strengthen before applying to where your best funding opportunities are. Then we recommend the engagement and scope that fit.

Can we change engagements as our needs change?

Yes. Many clients start with one engagement and expand as their grants program grows. We review fit with you regularly.
